Tire alignment

If you want to ensure you get the best mileage possible, in addition to tune up and other things, make sure your tires are aligned properly. If you car constant drifts to the left and you have to fight it while you're driving, you are using up gasoline.

I was persuaded inot getting my tyres re aligned at the garage a few weeks ago, when I was told that not only could it add years to my tyre life by reducing wear, but also could account for 3% of fuel use if they were incorrectly aligned!

Apart from tyre alignment the pressure in the tyre should always be checked and so the friction with road can be minimized and hence less use of gasoline.
