I wash all my clothes in cold water, that has helped a lot with bills since we do not need the hot water form the heater. I also hang up my clothes to dry.

I wash all my clothes in cold water. I also use heater fans in the bedrooms instead of turning on the heat. I don't use lights during the day, I open all my shades. Lowered the temp on my water heater.

We make sure , that we turn off the lights and fans as soon as we leave the room. Every morning, before leaving to job, we make sure that every electrical appliances are turned off.

Of course, me too. I will turn off my TV as soon as I finish with it, and there are chances of short circuitry too. So to be on the safer side, its better to turn of the electrical devices.

Things I do to save energy around my apartment are not use the dryer. I hang all my clothes up outside on a line. Also I don't use lights while its daylight I open my blinds. I use ceiling fans and portable heaters fan instead of the Heating system.

Energy saving lightbulbs can be seen everywhere in my household.

Also composting and recycling help us out alot, as well as having our own vegetable patch for food and chickens to lay us free eggs!
