Default Are we ready

Do you think America is ready to go all hybrid? Do you think there will ever be people who never change from gas to hybrid? Give us your opinion on this.

i don't think you could ever get a country to go "all hybrid". there are too many set in their ways as well as some that just don't care about the environment....

IF the new administration requires the automakers to use the bail out money they want, to create hybrids and other cars that can run on alternative fuels, people will buy them.

I think most people haven't switched because our auto makers haven't been offering enough autos that run on alternative fuels, or are hybrids.

Building hybrids in a greater price range, and requiring they be marketed first, will create the changes needed. People are ready for what ever the automakers will push.

I have to agree. For the most part, the consumer will buy what they are presented with, especially if it provides them with bonuses and incentives like better fuel economy.

I also agree, however, that no matter how good something gets, there will always be those who deign to not participate for whatever reason, so there will always be a few that refuse to drive hybrids, and stick with gasoline-only automobiles.

America is very ready for the induction of hybrid vehicles on roads. There are many refilling stations and many facilities coming up in the infrastructure development in America.
